History

Crafted in 1970 by local legend, architect Roland Wilson who was not only innovative but also prolific in his life's work, 1044 Downing was acquired by RedPeak in October of 2014. Wilson designed a staggering 6,000 units in his lifetime, and was responsible for setting a new standard in apartment buildings. It was due to Wilson's vision that most multi-family apartments began to offer amenities that include indoor pools, game rooms, and underground parking while his wife Ginny was well known for establishing a unique theme for each building's interior design. Wilson's distinctive style, and this property, helped to shape the Denver skyline.
